I contacted this mechanic on a Friday morning, and to their credit, they were able to see my car on short notice the same day. I went in because the boot door had stopped opening. After a few hours of waiting, I was asked to come back so the issue could be explained in person. Essentially, the mechanic removed the boot cover — a 10-second job with two screws — and told me he had no idea what the problem was.
