Every time I have gone to Katoomba hospital I have found them to be lovely an extremely professional an I've never had to wait in the waiting room

My 93 yo mum recently had cataract eye surgery in the day surgery unit, she was very anxious about the whole procedure, but she was very lucky to get the loveliest nurse Emma to check her in & care for & help support her, she made all the difference during my mum's time in the day surgery unit, mercifully all went well. Thank you Emma for your lovely kindness & sunny, caring attitude. Mary & Elizabeth

Had day surgery today. Excellent communication from booking till the completion of the operation. I turned up early because the traffic was okay for a change and was able to get in quicker because other people had not shown up. The nursing staff and all the Doctors and Porters and everybody else were just wonderful. I loved coming in and being seated down in a lovely hot blanket put over me to keep me warm while I was waiting.. There was constant recheck of all my information before going into the operation..
