After my diagnosis, I felt discouraged, scared and lost. Sara allowed me to express my fears and helped me understand my new diagnosis as not a death sentence but something I needed to pay attention to. After I was diagnosed with CKD, I was totally lost and not a little scared. My doctors had no helpful advice other than to suggest I see a dietitian.
