A great getaway with family. The fishing in Bell Lake was fantastic, as was the swimming. The cabins are comfortabke and off grid. So only propane lighting, fridge, and stove. A big thanks to Lorne and Mike for all the help and great week.
What an experience of a life time. Our family wanted to try something new. You show up and you can tell the cabins, docks, boats have all been taken care of with pride! Owners Mike and Ang are very available and make you feel like family. Lorne Mike's brother was also amazing. He had the place looking sharp and assisted with luggage. Very fond memories of coming here each summer in the '50's before the Queen Elizabeth Trans Canada was completed. Flew in by sea plane from Sudbury. Caught my first Bass. Two magical visits. Cabins were varnished inside and exterior by the Finnish family that built it.
The serenity is unbeatable!! We simply loved our stay. The cabins were clean and cozy which made us fall in love with Canada. Our first now of many trips to come. The hosts and other residents truly enjoy living there and after our one week experience, we can understandably see why. Great photographic opportunities if you're an enthusiast. Thank you Mike, his wife Ang, Lorance and all the new friends we met during our stay. What a great experience staying here for a week. Bring a bathing suit!!
