I have been going to "Blue Moon Lounge" since 1990 when it was called "Mike's Verdugo Room". At that time there was a dumb waiter that had a pad of paper in it, you would write "2 light beers" on the pad, shut the door, and miraculously, 5 minutes later 2 beers would appear. A local bought, remodeled, and changed the name to Blue Moon. There are still games upstairs, and socializing downstairs. Great Place. New & improved ownership! The Blue Moon Lounge has new owners and you can really tell! There are some new faces behind the bar, a new sign you can actually read out front and the place is packed almost every night! No more scary couches upstairs! They have been replaced with high tables and bar stools which are nice, especially when you're shooting pool and you need somewhere to put your pitcher. The place even has a beer pong table - for real! I love that Karaoke is now every Thursday and I even got to sing a duet with one ... read more
Good entertainment The weekends get packed here! The bars are full and the crowd gets loud. It's a mini sports bar that is pretty quiet, but turns lively late night. There's also a karaoke machine and the crowd gets excited.

Fun Place The Moon is always a lot of fun. The regulars are a good group of people who are always cool with new comers. The drinks are strong, and if you want a quiet escape during the week, the upstairs is usually pretty slow, and has a pool table and darts. Go USC!
Great Fun The Moon is a great place every night of the week. The bartenders are very friendly and make great drinks. This is a USC bar so enjoy all the games here with special USC themed drinks. All of the "regulars" are a lot of fun to hang out with.
