I felt insulted I've always been a fan of Blue Mesa Fort Worth but on New Years Day I called the Southlake restaurant and asked if they might possibly have black eyed peas on the menu. I know they don't normally but it's a fun southern tradition and we wanted to find a restaurant that would oblige. When asked if they did, the guy that answered, in the most pretentious voice, told me, "No! Never!". Now I respect their decision not to serve a southern dish... ever. Blue Mesa I went here for brunch one day and the food was fresh and delicious. They also had bottomless mimosa's.... need I say more?

Disappointed, Expected a Better Experience – We (party of 3) went for the Sunday Brunch and was told our wait was 30-40 minutes. We sat at the bar and drank our complimentary mimosas. Good start. 30 minutes later, we swore that people who arrived after us were getting seated before us (and I called ahead and they don't take reservations) but we were patient. Love Blue Mesa! My husband and I love Blue Mesa - every one of them. Some are better than others, and for different things. This Blue Mesa is good with general dining. I hosted a graduation party at this location and we were able to reserve the whole front room; the service was friendly and capable and the food was fresh and hot. We have been to their Sunday brunch, which is what typically draws us to this restaurant chain. Best Little Cafe in Southlake! – Food is fresh, spiced just right! The Chili Crusted Salmon is worth trip! and the great yam chips with the fresh salsa's! Great value , They also have an extravagant Sunday Champagne Brunch!
