Circumstances with my sons mother brought us to San Mateo, so I figured Id take my family out to try a new pizza joint… wish I could’ve took a picture to share but literally the second the appetizers/pizzas hit the table they were damn near gone lol! Had the meatballs & cheesy garlic bread which paired perfectly! Then a bbq chicken & Italian special pizza! Amazing service & outstanding food!
Updated again - A place I keep coming back to — and for very good reason! This is hands down my all-time favorite pizza spot. The staff has changed a bit over time but the quality and warmth never wavers — always the best in town! On my latest visit I got to chat with the woman chef and she was so friendly and cool — that personal touch really adds to the whole experience. If you enjoy going to extraordinarily LOUD restaurants where you have to scream at the top of your lungs to talk to the person across the table from you, then you may enjoy this restaurant. The pizza is just okay. Frankly, I thought Round Table Pizza was better. The selection of beers on tap used to be good, but not anymore.
