We stayed at their nearby campsite (walking distance — highly recommend that too!). We ended up going twice during our 3-day stay because it was that good. The beer was outstanding — an impressive selection on tap, including a few brewed with hops grown right on their own farm, which felt wonderfully authentic. I believe it was the Scouts IPA? I’ve seen a billboard for this place and while driving home from Whitehall we decided to stop by and so glad we did! The place has very cozy vibes like you’re at a kickback at someone’s house. There’s plenty of places to sit and hangout. Lots of selections of Michigan craft beers. We got brats and a pretzel with beer cheese. The beer cheese was so good we started dipping our brats into it. The last 4 times I have came in to have a beer and some food have been horrible. Not only has the food been cold, the girl that is in the food area is one of the rudest girls I have ever met. Not only does she not smile, she is extremely rude if you ask a question (even where the bathroom is) this last time I came, over the holiday weekend, will most definitely be my last. 4 bad experiences in the last couple months and they all involve this dark haired girl. One of the coolest places in West Michigan. Food, beer, booze, donkeys, primitive camping, fresh herbs for sale, and some of the best Michigan made sodas around.
We stopped in on our way through. Very unique! They have igloos, a green house and fire pits to sit around. Great selection of Michigan beer! We didn't eat anything but the snacks looked good.
