Amazing place to visit!!! The view AND staff are outstanding.
We’ve enjoyed all three of our visits here exceptionally. The tour guide gave us a enthusiastic introduction the weather center and the surrounding area visible from the observation tower. The nearby Elliot Tower is also nice for a quick view. Note that sometimes the observation tower closes at 4 PM.
We received a special tour from our granddaughter Bella who has an internship at the observatory. Great history of weather observations over the years and the various instruments used or being used. Staff was very welcoming. A very worthwhile destination.
