I would never work with them again and would not recommend them. We contracted with Blue Heron to build a custom home and used them only as a condition of acquiring the lot that they were selling that we wanted. Based on our experience from working with them to design and build our home, we found their professional & personal communications to be untrustworthy, and the quality of their work/sub-contractors poor. Poor Quality/Poor Communication with General Contractor/Vice President (GC/VP). No attention to detail, foresight of extra details that million-dollar homes should include. First home we ever built and needed guidance. Was offered when I first purchased the lot, then the VP quit and was left with the current GC/VP. Per my attorney, I can legally say these things regarding Blue Heron Signature Homes: I hired them to build a custom home only as a condition of obtaining a lot they owned. I would suggest contacting the North Carolina Board for General Contractors re: complaints 21C265 and 22C151 for publicly available information regarding their performance.
