This place is beautiful and in the heart of the city. They have a new manager here who is awesome and everything you'd hope from a historic B&B manager. Highly recommend!
The location of this inn is perfect and the people that work here are very kind. The price is very reasonable for the area. I’m giving a 3 star review because I felt that our room was misrepresented in photos and description. The swallow room is laid out differently now than in the photos, and it does not disclose that there is a window a/c unit. Beautiful bed and breakfast in an excellent location to all that Amelia Island has to offer. The owners, Charles and Rebecca, are sweet and wonderful people. They provide a beautifully decorated, clean B&B and take great pride in their business. Their employees are also terrific; Carol is a gem and cooks the most delicious breakfast. My husband and I came to Amelia Island for our anniversary. We had the best time and loved staying at the Blue Heron. Beautiful family owned bed and breakfast. Carol always served up a yummy breakfast and will accommodate even a picky eater or dietary restrictions. Highly recommend Blue Heron.
