My wife and I stayed here this past Thursday through Saturday 2 nights & 2 breakfasts. The Positives: (1) Great location, (2) nice, clean, comfortable rooms, (3) Christine was a pleasant hostess, (4) good parking, (5) snacks & *coffee bar, (6) * nice swimming pool area. What a great experience in the Blue Heron Inn. From the old Florida rooms that create a special cozy atmosphere of the past, to the lovely porch for warm breezy mornings, it is another gem that does not break your budget and yet treats like the only guest.

Stayed one night at this very nice inn. It is appealing to the eye, clean and in very good shape. It is ideally located near downtown Fernandina Beach with great eating and shopping within easy walking distance. Stayed in the Heron room - large, redone bathroom is a plus. Didn't use the pool but it's a nice option for people. The breakfast was a big negative for me. This B&B is so close to down town we didn't have to drive and park the entire weekend which is nice since the city charges for parking now. The room was clean with a big bathroom and very large tub, great for relaxing. We didnt get a chance to swim in the pool but the little courtyard outside was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable we slept in and missed breakfast. The host was very kind and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance. It made our weekend the perfect island get away.
