The location is excellent, with easy walking access to all downtown activities including shops, restaurants, tours, and the harbor. The Victorian-era home is charming and full of character, though the heron motif was a bit overdone. The wraparound porch was a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing, and the inviting backyard offered a peaceful spot to enjoy breakfast (if even offered) or unwind poolside. I couldn’t disagree more with the previous written negative. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The innkeeper, Susan, was gracious, attentive, and added to the charm of the stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order. I visited this Inn a while back. Then went again for 2 nights in August. I was greatly impressed with the new management. Ms. Susan was a wonderful host. The breakfast she served was very good. I have never had a frittata! It was so good , light and fluffy! With a side of fresh fruit and a sausage link. Also, the grounds and house had significant improvements since my last visit! The pool area looked amazing! New landscaping, lights around the pool ! I loved to be able to sit out by the pool and have a drink! I love the area... read more
