Arrived early for a *Tasting* experience in preparation for daughter's upcoming wedding. Graciously and professionally greeted by owner Susan Joy, and introduced to Destine Rich, both immediately making our party welcome. We recently ordered catering from Blue Heron Catering for an event and everything was outstanding. The food was fresh, made with whole foods, beautifully prepared, and delicious. Our guests were so pleased with the food; the chicken salad on mini croissants and the ham on sweet potato biscuits were the first to go, the roasted veggie triangles with Boursin on ciabatta were a wonderful vegetarian option, and the fruit tray was generous with ripe, flavorful fruit, and beautifully arranged. I attended a wedding in September and the staff was rude. The food was absolutely disgusting as well as food was handled with hands and not utensils. The food was so bad it wasn’t even warm. Had a fish smell a slimy appearance. I would not recommend this company for your wedding better yet. I wouldn’t even feed the food to my animals.
Unfortunately I had the displeasure of consuming what they called food in September. CRABS should be insulted from the use of their names in the so called crab deviled eggs. In fact i had to find a trash can to spit it out my first bite. VERY DISAPPOINTING
I hired Blue Heron Catering for my September 28th wedding at Breckenridge Barn, and unfortunately I cannot recommend them after our experience. We paid close to $10,000 expecting a smooth, high-quality service. Instead, we dealt with disorganization, unsafe practices, and dismissive communication.
