Erin was very helpful when I called about a quilt kit in the shop. She checked the kit for me and got it out in the mail as soon as she could after a big snowstorm. I hope to get down to the store in person this summer.
Nicely laid out shop, lots of fabric, and friendly staff. First time visiting, so needed to get the lay of the shop. Mixed locations of specific fabric, but staff greatly willing to help you locate what you want! Definitely will go back when Im in the DE area!
Purchased a decadently wonderful Janome Skyline 7 AE. I love it. I am sewing more than ever. Blue Hen spent a lot of time with me making the decision. Everyone in the shop has been responsive and welcoming. Communication has been excellent and timely.
I purchased an Amara 24 with Prostitcher and a 12 foot frame. Erin and Mary were/are super helpful and wonderful. They are in Delaware and I am in Iowa. The machine arrived at my home in about a week. Erin has reached out to me to see if I need help or have questions. This shop provided a great experience :-)
Fabric was quickly shipped and great quality, and more beautiful than I expected from the little on-line photos. I have sent gift certificates from Blue Hen multiple times and recipient was always happy.
