I took my brand-new Delta 14 kayak out for its maiden voyage today at C.S. Mott Lake, launching from the kayak launch at the Bluegill boat launch. While the lake itself is a fantastic spot to paddle, I was deeply frustrated to discover that the launch structure severely scuffed and chewed up the bottom of my brand-new hull after a single use.
