Disappointed in this rental. I had stayed in this house before a few years back, so I was excited to be back but did not realize ownership had chamged. The second we got there we noticed the patio and pool were filthy. After calling the office I was just told the pool had already been cleaned, no one came to look. Toilet seat was broken and dishwasher was leaking, I called maintenance and never got a call back. Definitely will not be staying at any Silver Sands location moving forward.
We stayed at Blue Fin Beach House and it was the worst one yet!! We have two dogs and I noticed something crawling on one dog and it was a flea, didn’t think anything of it at first. Then we started finding more and more on both dogs, on the couches, beds and also on us! The maintenance guy came and bombed the place, and we assumed that would help but it didn’t at all! We have used Silver Sands for years now and this is the second year we’ve had issues with the houses. Needless to say, this was THE WORST vacation we’ve had!
Good location but not well maintained. Ac was broken had to call and have it fixed. Not well stocked they only gave us one trash bag and 1 roll of tolit paper and 1 roll of paper towles and only 4 towles for 7 people for 5 nights paying 2k for 5 nights should have been better stocked. Needs a bigger couch not enough sitting room for everyone. Pool was dirty hasn't been cleaned lately. BEWARE: Do not do business with these shady people. My family and I had a horrible experience with this management group and the property is disgusting and unkept. The property is not at all what you see in the pictures. The management company will not work with you on any partial refunds or compensation for your troubles, which you will definitely come across staying here. I placed a review on their website and they did not publish it. They only post the ones that benefit them. Check out the Yelp reviews for the property.
