Beautiful and charming hotel. Not quite in the center of the city but no more than a 20 min walk. The rooms are clean, decent sized and a bathrooms are super nice. I’d guess it was remodeled not too long ago. The rooms in the first floor with the private patio are awesome. Even has a gas fire pit. Pet friendly. There’s lots of outdoor seating and common areas to enjoy the fresh air. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. I’d easily stay here again.
This is an annual week long destination for us. Everything is perfect…so clean, the stunning grounds are meticulously cared for, the beds are heaven, the breakfasts are so delicious, the staff is always helpful, the pool is pristine, and the seating areas are delightful. We always feel like family at Blue Elk Inn and hopefully our grandchildren will bring their children. So much to do without ever going into town. Love the new firepits that can be used even when high fire danger in area. Wonderful!
This is such a refreshing place to stay. The hotel has been there forever and has a quirky vibe. It is a small independent business and feels like a real getaway. The hotel has been renovated top to bottom, is spotless, has a great breakfast, a lovely outdoor pool, a gym and bikes. The grounds are lovely, perfectly maintained, and are a perfect place for a wedding.
Great staff, great location and quaint accomodations! Will stay here again.
