Edit: Wow, I literally wrote my review late last night and they came this next morning to tell me in person that they were working on upgrading the internet cables to hold a better bandwidth. Changing to 5 starts. Original: I didn't realize how much I appreciate, in a unit with 6 guys, having two fridges instead of two showers. This place looks way bigger in photos than it actually is. The building is old, the rooms are tiny and suffocating, and there’s barely any natural light. In shared rooms, beds are so close that basically your feet touch the other person’s face while sleeping, zero privacy or space. Management is a hassle. Weekly clean checks are during busy weekdays, specifically Wednesday, and when it’s break time between semesters they make you pack up everything for inspections even if you're not moving out. I love Blue Door! It's a really good apartment for a great price. The sense of community is awesome, and everything is clean and works great
This is a great place to live, there is a lot of under bed storage and the management is super friendly! It's close to campus with a lot of parking which is amazing!
Everyone at Blue Door is so nice! It’s such a great community, and the managers have been so understanding and accommodating with everything I’ve been going through. I injured my spine and I couldn’t walk for three months during spring and summer, and during that time people visited me to watch shows and play games, and the management exempted me from clean checks. I also have an ESA cat, and everyone has been so great about her being here. 10/10 love it, and I would give it more stars if I could!
