Bought a 10kva generator. Regularly serviced at the stipulated intervals. Constantly breaking down and unreliable. Latest problem is a faulty alternator and have been quoted $1800 and 2 month wait for parts out of China. Blue Diamond claim to be the leading Off-Grid supplier but they dont carry the parts and we have to be without power while we wait for parts.
Needed new handles for my old alloy toolbox that I purchased about 10 years ago from them.Very helpful Service & parts staff and they had them in stock at a good price. Highly recommended !
Purchased a generator for our off grid property located near Bundaberg QLD. Generator will not start after only five hours use. Blue Diamond want the generator sent to their Brisbane depot for assessment at our cost. According to Blue Diamond, customers are “stupid” and the reason for the generator not working is probably something delinquent we have done and is our fault. Terrible customer service. Have emailed & called, told someone would be getting back to me about a broken generator (3 months old) If there was -5 stars, thats what I would submit.
