Worst health insurance ever! Pay whatever else you can get.
They cover a lot of doctors and hospitals, i will give them that. But their customer service is atrocious. Their automated system seems to run everything...but runs it poorly. Customer service reps cant do anything and will constantly tell you to go through the system. They act like it is a simple procedure, but healthi insurance isnt simple. They need a system where people are in charge...not machines
Took me almost two weeks to get my medication. Every-time I called they stated the doctor’s office did not sent over the pre authorization. When they finally admitted that had to they stated I could go fill it. I called and it kept getting rejected. I kept calling back they then admitted they filled out a verbage wrong in the form. Stated it would take 2-3 hours and I should be able to fill my prescription. I went to fill it and denied again. I called them back, they stated they would call me back. Never called me back. The WORST customer service line, it will hang up on you because it can’t understand.
leaving 5 stars for customer service representative Heather! i have bcbs ut select so i called the number on the back of my insurance card and She spent an hour on the phone with me trying to get ahold of my gynecologist office and tried two different numbers (she found one of those numbers for me!) she even provided me with a reference number to give to my dr so i wouldn’t have to pay $600! i stayed on the line to do the survey but it HUNG UP and did my girl dirty! so i’m leaving this review for her! and ps Heather giiirrll... read more
