Mobile app and website are terrible. I can’t do a simple search to find a clinic or provider and confirm they are in network. The customer service agents really want to help but they have the same bad systems. Also, from Dec 2024-March 2025 I couldn’t get access to my claims through the website.
I would not choose BCBS, unfortunately my employers does. They are charging me for a service that is covered by insurance. I have been on the phone 5 separate times over several months to get the charge reversed. They are not reversing the charge for a service that I have verified several times, is covered by insurance. Reasons why not to use this insurance 1. They denied to cover two of my medications when I had my dosage increased 2. When my doctor followed up saying it was medically neccessary they still refused to cover it and doubled down saying we would have to investigate in a "court appeal" 3. I have been without my medication for weeks and as a result of the "appeals" I'm struggling to complete daily tasks I can't believe I'm paying for Health Insurance that won't even cover the medications I'm paying them for!
App was suppose to be able to redeem gift cards for walking. It wasn't working, I called after 30 minutes they said they know and they are trying to fix it. I only have 10 days left on my account to cash out. They have been trying to "fix it" for months. Plus they don't cover hardly anything
