Highmark West Virginia was once the best to work with for claim denials, correcting claims and any other problem. Since they offshored they customer service they have become the worst. I do insurance billing for a living.
Doesn’t help pay for anything. I’m not sure what the point of having insurance is. I now have so many medical bills in separate places that I can’t keep up.
Going on day 5 of inability to get my prescriptions due to no ID card in the mail, virtual ID not showing on the website, and customer service impossible to reach :)
The health care is fine but trying to get a hold of someone is impossible. I’ve called 5 times, gave my birthday and id number. It repeats both of these back to me. Then I say why I’m calling. It then repeats why I’m calling only to say, “Before speaking to a representative you need to have your birthday and ID available. Call back when you have it. Goodbye.” I’ve already given it to them 5 freaking times and 5 times I’ve been hung up on and told to call back.
They denied everything.They wont pay their bills.Really bad.
