I see that I am not the only one getting the runaround from this company. Staff member clearly told me I had "in network" options when I absolutely did not. they will not take ownership of this error, and worse yet, they are making it sound like I fabricated the information in my head. Way to go guys, pathetic! UGH, can't wait to switch. I have given you all a fortune over the years, and NO MORE!
This company is the most crooked insurance company I have ever dealt with and now they hit me with unprofessional business practices on top of straight up denial. I was scheduled for a procedure, which they denied and said I need another test. 5 days later they approved the procedure and said it was medically necessary so I was glad to get the procedure. 2 weeks after the procedure they said they reviewed the case and now it was denied because it was not medically necessary and I did not have the other test done. They have denied more claims than they approve this year. With a $2000 deductible and $8400 out of pocket, it doesn't cost them to start with. At one time they were a good company. At the end of the day they don't have the well being of their customer in mind. In January my deductible was $500 and out of pocket was $6500. At least now they can wear a mask when they rob you. Even after I call them they continue to give me the runaround.
Zero stars would be a better option for this company! My sister who has an eating disorder has been paying them over $600 a month for coverage. This company had denied paying for treatment she had needed when they said they would 6 months ago. Now they are kicking her out of a treatment facility after 15 days while her blood work is abnormal and EKG also abnormal! 15 days??? She needs to be in there for 120 plus days! I would give a negative rating, but there isn't one available. This company is horrible. From top to bottom. Charge outrageous amounts and offer terrible service. Deny medications constantly and have to go around and around just to get things covered. They spend more time trying to take your money than actually trying to help. These people are crooks. I would go anywhere else, but I'm tied here thanks to my company. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It seems like I have government ran insurance.
