Not for coffee enthusiasts, if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee in SF you can safely skip this place. Just average coffee for non coffee drinkers who’ll order a “cold mocha” or bad coffee to go for people who drink it with sugar or for the caffeine rush.
It is sad to see Blue Bottle has turned into just an ordinary coffee chain. As “specialty coffee shop”, the extraction was poor, bitter, milk was boiling hot temperature and waffle was full of burnt bits stuck to the waffle, which makes it tastes bitter🤢. When you tell the staff, they just reply “that is just brown sugar” It is not, you need to clean the waffle iron! Blue Bottle management, your staff in this location needs some attention.
