I threw away a paper cup in your dumpster this morning. While I was doing so I had a Indian man pull up in his Honda Civic and block me in. He told me that he has me on camera and is going to send me a ticket and then pulled off before I could respond. Private businesses cannot do that however if you guys would prefer it I could just throw my cup on the ground next time.

During my first professional job in the U.S., I experienced inappropriate behavior from a senior manager while traveling for work. I reported it to HR. Weeks later, I was called into a meeting with company leadership, including that person. Nothing meaningful came from it. Shortly after, I was let go without a clear reason. The timing spoke for itself. I’m sharing this as a warning to others. Speaking up came at a cost, but staying silent wasn’t something I could live with.
