Our experience with BBD was professional and heartwarming as the parents and grandparents of a student. My granddaughter is nonverbal and was not walking at 4 years old when she started. The staff worked with her and her medical issues and she left walking. There were tears on her last day because we will miss the care they provided my granddaughter and us. This school has really made a difference in my son's life! He walked in barely saying a few words, and a year later, he is speaking sentences. We really love our speech therapist, jennifer quinones. All therapists and helpers are amazing here! But our favorite is Alisa Cipriano! When a therapist communicates so closely with the family ensuring your child the best, they become family and she has become family to us! Alisa is the best at what she does and always with warmth. I highly recommend BlueBird!
Our family moved to IL from NC for our child to attend BBD in Wheaton. From the first time I spoke with Kristen I felt immediate relief and hope. After our son's records were sent to BBD and we had virtual interviews and meetings we moved our family to a place we had never even visited at that time.
