I would not recommend Blue Arc to families of color or otherwise. Staff and leadership have made racist remarks about children and excused discriminatory behavior instead of addressing it on several occasions. This environment is unsafe and unprofessional. Families deserve providers who treat all clients with respect and integrity.
3 phone calls with messages 6/20, 6/27, and 6/30 Got a missed call and text on 6/30 at 7:30 pm from the ABA Manager asking to reach out when I can and stated there was some issues with them not receiving voicemails. But I did also get an email that said I was put on the waitlist for therapy. To say Blue Arc changed my family’s life would be an understatement. My husband and I were at a complete loss when we reached out to Stacey about placement for our then-4 year old son. Previous ABA therapy did not work for us (we later learned this was “classic” ABA—and BABS utilizes the latest and greatest clinical methods that actually WORK), and we saw how much our son was struggling, and how emotionally unprepared he was at the time to enter kindergarten. After Blue Arc opened their learning center, they have become a pillar in the Richmond Autism Community. They continually show up in the community, at schools, and in home. What a kindhearted crew, they will continue to drive forward empathetic ABA therapy in Richmond!
Incredible staff and a leadership team that truly cares. Can't recommend enough!
