The food was good. The service was terrible! I was disappointed that they didn’t have live jazz like their website says.
Ordered the taste of new Orleans appetizer a blueberry lemonade drink and lavender honeysuckle lemon drop. The appetizer was mediocre at best. The blueberry lemonade was good but the lavender was literally just lemon juice and when we asked for it to be remade they said they could remake it but would still charge for the bad drink. Feels like a pretty unfair policy if you made a bad drink. Also very slow service because it did not have many people in there.
We went here after seeing it on fb. Our daughter is in band and loves music, and I love listening to the saxophone. Soon as we walked in the place smelled like cigarette smoke. There was no one playing music. The host seated us and went in the back. And before he came back, we left. Our daughter has asthma. We didnt try the food.
This was my 1st time in Mississippi on a work related visit. Went to brunch here with some new friends. The food was delicious!!! The bread pudding took me back to days of sitting in my grandma's kitchen!! Had the divine pleasure of meeting the owners mother and asked her did she or his grandma taught him how to make bread pudding. I will be back in Hattiesburg again in August and will definitely be coming back for seconds!!!
