We had room 121 for one night. When we checked in, the room next to us, 120 - the only other room rented - was loud but it was early so we ignored them. A few hours later, the couple started arguing, slamming doors, and it sounded like things were being thrown. It had escalated to where we didn’t feel safe staying. We called the after hours desk at the Meadowbrook Inn and spoke to Jesse. He stated there was only 1 room he could move us to which was on the other side of the couple. Not helpful. Great rooms in an old school setting. Reminds me of places we would stay while on vacation with my parents. Spacious, clean, and within walking distance of Main Street in Blowing Rock. We will stay again (this was our second time). Sitting outside on the porch area as the sun goes down is really nice. Blowing Rock is such a cool town.
Horrible place to stay if you plan to be there for a while. Got in to the check out room and it looked nice until we got in our room. Hair was on the bed everywhere, place was dusty as heck, carpet was scrunched up, black mold inside of AC, and the sink pipe was leaking. Someone came and fixed the pipe after 30 minutes. Would not recommend unless you want to have a horrible time
