I told the girl at the Blount Memorial Hospital ER Triage Check-in-window that I am very sick, I have cancer, believe I have an infection and that I needed to know if the back of the ER was full or not, because if it was full then I was going to go to a different hospital because of how very sick I am. In March, our 8 month old daughter rolled off a bed and hit her leg on the way down and was obviously in a lot of pain. I just went to the care today clinic at ETMG. My appointment was a walk-in drug screening for a new job. I was greeted nicely at the door to take my temp and was given the Covid-19 questions. All staff made sure that everyone felt accommodated by why they were there and my wait time was not long. The nurse that took me back was super nice and explained the process well. I was a patient on the psychiatric floor two years ago and had psychiatric issues where I heard voices. The voices told me to remove a place plate from the wall in my room and cut my wrist.
