I loved this store, but the owner has complete disregard for the safety of the customers in order to enforce masks during a pandemic. PLENTY of other businesses around Hendersonville and Ashville are enforcing a mask policy without issue. The owner not only said that the Governor had no right to tell him what to do, but also suggested that there is no virus. He was condescending and rude. You'd think if they were out of business for so long, that they'd be a little more careful about driving away customers.
Before today, Bloomfield’s was one of my favorite places! Over the 12 years I have lived in the area I have been a loyal and “spendy” customer! Today, while paying for my purchase, I was inquiring about a request for Bloomfield’s providing a small discount to Breast Cancer Survivors in support of an American Cancer event. We don't have a problem with the two men vaping. Nor do we have a problem with you. However, as a small business owner I'll inform you that ALL STAFF, OWNER INCLUDED, worked 3 months With No Pay because we couldn't afford anything ma'am.
