Was excited to donate blood for the first time, especially during a shortage. I had an appt at 7, I arrived at 7:05, couldn’t find the right door so when I did it was 7:06 and the doors were locked. The sign says they’re open until 7:15 pm. I stood at the door until 7:09 then called the number listed for this location, someone not at this location answered right as someone From inside saw me. The American Red Cross needs a location in Oxford Michigan. I would be able to donate more platelets if I didn't have to drive an hour to donate. A man who was also donating agreed with me because he also had a long drive.
