We enjoyed our trip to Georgia! Great food and service
The food at Bloom was good overall, but unfortunately the experience was held back by some pretty significant operational issues. We originally wanted to do the Trip tasting menu, but they were out of it. My wife then ordered the shrimp pasta dish, only to find out they were out of that as well. I ordered a sangria when my steak arrived, but it didn’t show up until well after I had already finished eating. Bloom is one of our favorite restaurants. As soon as you walk in (sometimes even as you're walking up to the door) you are greeted with the delightful scents of the rotating menu and the sights of the impeccable open kitchen, well-stocked bar, and inviting seating. Bloom is an absolute gem in Roanoke. We did the chef’s tasting menu, Trip for the Table, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The service was just as impressive. Each course was brought out with perfect timing, allowing us to really enjoy every dish without ever feeling rushed.
