I recently sought a pre-approval letter for a mortgage at Bloom in the Big Rapids, MI branch, and my experience has been nothing short of alarming. Has been a complete mess since merging. They used to be good. I was charged more than $400 in fees during the merger with no choice to dispute to get my money back. They charge me an additional $15 dollars every month even though I pay in person before costs are due, and send me notifications that I owe money even when I dont. Do not use this bank. Go anywhere else. Please get a better system Bloom. Please..

Since they did this new merge, I’ve been very displeased. I was locked out of my online banking for multiple weeks. Once I finally got back in, I had suffered $200 loss of funds to fraudulent transaction which on top of they charged me over $200 in insufficient funds ( mind you I called multiple times and sat on the phone for over two hours on hold both times.
