I recently sought a pre-approval letter for a mortgage at Bloom in the Big Rapids, MI branch, and my experience has been nothing short of alarming. Within just 30 seconds of my credit being pulled, my phone started ringing non-stop with calls from mortgage salespeople. While I was there, finishing up the paperwork, the constant barrage of calls made my phone practically unusable. Has been a complete mess since merging. They used to be good. I was charged more than $400 in fees during the merger with no choice to dispute to get my money back. They charge me an additional $15 dollars every month even though I pay in person before costs are due, and send me notifications that I owe money even when I dont. Do not use this bank. Go anywhere else. Please get a better system Bloom. Please..
