Recently we toured the Bloom model home. The layout was open and bright, the finishes were high high quality. The neighborhood seemed quiet and being near the lake is a big plus! We felt the price is great for having so many top quality amenities. We would definitely recommend checking out this community.
Bloom at Lakeside is a hidden gem in Omaha's 55+ community landscape. From the moment I visited, I was impressed by the thoughtful design and welcoming atmosphere. The semi-custom homes are beautifully crafted with high-quality materials, offering both comfort and style. Wonderful location and love the concept of this new 55+ active community, but in my opinion, the purchase price of these villa/patio homes (high $600's on up) is not within reason for a home that only has 2 bedrooms, less than 2,000 sf, no basement, no driveway for visitors to park, and virtually no yard. You would never be able to resell and be able to recoup your investment. Also, the monthly HOA fee of $660 is outlandish. That is 50% more than the monthly senior social membership fee at the top country club in Omaha!
