My beloved mom was at this facility for 1 mo. this summer. Initially the staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. Yet things went downhill fast when management became complicit in banning communications with our Mom per our step-dad's request without explanation or a court order at a time when she desperately needed our love and support. My father and step mother lived at Bloom for a year and a half. The staff there became family. My sisters and I live out of state so we relied on the staff at Bloom to take care of them when we couldn't be. My step mother passed away in January and Dad passed away last night. As we watched over Dad and waited for the inevitable, the staff would frequently check on Dad and us. We felt as much cared for as Dad was. The only reason I'm giving them a one is because there isn't a way to give a lower score. Since I have been acquainted with this group I have witnessed every infraction of abuse and or neglect that can be otributed to a facility like this. Their Director is never there, the staff do as they please without any consequences of their actions. They even cover for the staff that both verbally and physically assaulted a guest.
