I just moved and am so happy to have found Boston Children's Hospital to donate my blood. The entire staff is wonderful. Dr. Hamza was very polite and friendly, very nice to me. The procedure is painless, they give you a gift and a parking pass. Doing good deeds is twice as nice.
They treat platelet donors like rockstars at Boston Children’s. Donating platelets and whole blood helps men purify their blood along with other health benefits. I can’t believe I was going to the Red Cross (where platelets get sent across the country in lieu of going directly to newborns across the street) or to two other local hospitals to be treated like prison inmates even after you bring fresh baked, home-made treats for the phlebotomists. Convenient, paid parking out back, and they’re super sweet to you.
Staff are professional, caring and supportive. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and work well with their team. I’ve been coming here to donate for 4+ years and have always enjoyed donating blood here. Absolutely love the team. Shoutout to Lila and Yibei!
