I have lived in New York all my life and I had my fair share of bad experiences with bs salons in this city. Let me tell you that Lucke IS hands down the best hairstylist in New York City, I type this as I’m touching my soft caramel hair. Lucke is a master colorist and just a great person in general. I have been seeing him for over 5 different color sessions spanning the last 2 years. Even though he’s no longer in my neighborhood, I will travel to wherever he is - he is worth it. Lucke is extremely meticulous, has an amazing eye for tone and detail. Im super late with this review but Lucke deserves the 5 stars!! I usually wait a little to see how my hair feels after the first wash and I must say that my hair is pretty healthy. I had a bad experience in a Brooklyn salon and pretty sure that the hair stylist damn near destroyed my hair by putting Henna in it, let alone he didnt do what I asked. The best cut and color of my life. It’s been about 3 weeks since my color, and I still look in the mirror at my hair and am extremely happy! Lucke knew exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. He also did an amazing job with my layers. I’ve asked for layers from many salons before and I usually get a blunt cut with very very little layering, but Lucke gave me the exact cut I wanted. Will 100% be returning.
