H&R Block lost my 2023 1040 package. I have been told it was there but the every time I go by the office the man that is working cannot find it, cannot find the keys to file cabinet. I fear there has been a privacy breach. No less than four trips to H&R Block Advisors and still no package.
Refund guarantee? Not so much. I had a complicated tax situation for this year so I sought professional help to file my taxes. I explained my situation up front and was told it was best to file jointly. The person filing my taxes knew ahead of time that my late husband owed prior taxes from well before I had met him when he was still married to his ex. Still, I was told this was best. I went here in March 2024 for taxes and had an appointment. The specialist I saw was rude, gave me dirty confused looks when I shared I had some self employment income, and spent no more than 2 minutes before saying he would do it later (even though I had an appointment) and that it would take a week. I went to Jackson Hewitt and they did it right away, politely and easily.
Mrs. Loney was an excellent representative for H&R Block. Very helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She has done my taxes for a number of years now and I will definately go back next year.
