I'm shocked to be seeing so many 5 star reviews (bots?). I moved back to VA and went back here because it used to be okay but the lady who saw me was completely clueless on how to do taxes. She said I owed money and the state of VA ended up sending it back to me! Talk about a screw up. Just doing TurboTax from now on and I advise everyone else to do the same.
H&R Block lost my 2023 1040 package. I have been told it was there but the every time I go by the office the man that is working cannot find it, cannot find the keys to file cabinet. I fear there has been a privacy breach. No less than four trips to H&R Block Advisors and still no package.
Refund guarantee? Not so much. I had a complicated tax situation for this year so I sought professional help to file my taxes. I explained my situation up front and was told it was best to file jointly. The person filing my taxes knew ahead of time that my late husband owed prior taxes from well before I had met him when he was still married to his ex. Still, I was told this was best.
