Incorrect tax filing - Used a tax pro. They made grave mistake in my 2023 and 2024 taxes and ended up paying too much extra (>5K). I had to go back and get them to fix it by filing a 1040 X. After this, they just raise their hands and no further assistance. Been a year, waiting for its processing. Recommend to do your home work and using an online app should be sufficient to file taxes rather than seeking a tax pro assistance who charge exorbitantly which is fine if they can file it correctly but they don't.
