It feels like home. There is a community of women who always makes me thrive.
Irina and Jim have built a true community of crafters where everyone is welcomed, no matter their crafting bent. The staff is friendly with just the right amount of snark to keep things interesting. Conversations flow, grandchildren and children, oohs and ahs, celebrations of victories and comiseration in difficult times. Classes, advice, encouragement and acceptance can all be found inside. It's a great place to spend your time and a fantastic community to count yourself a part of.
How can I tell folks about the wonderful people, atmosphere and gorgeous fibers I enjoyed today at Blizzard....oh, I just did! Blizzard is a unique and welcoming gem in the crown of Vancouver.
One of the most open and welcoming stores I have ever been too. So helpful and encouraging. Prices are perfect for the high quality products and service you get. The weekly knit night is something I look forward to :) constantly recommending this shop to new people!!
I love this shop! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and there are terrific choices for yarn and fiber. Every time I get my car's oil change, I have them shuttle me over here so that I can spend time with my Blizzard family. I've taken my spinning wheel and spent time spinning here as well as knitting around the table with friends. Blizzard is a perfect example of what a yarn shop should be.
Went in for the first time today. Very friendly with a great selection of yarn. Will definitely be back
