Great place. But I would have to agree with David rudeness has no place when serving customers. The waitress from Bastrop had attitude when asked questions or requests were made. I hope it is short lived as they said owners were on vacation. The other employee took our order and checked us out was very nice and helpful. Several really good meads and beers. My rating is strictly due to interactions with and witnessed of the one employee.
My wife and I were on a small town trip. We found this place on harvest host. We want to try a local brewery to see what it was like on our way home. We found the place and they offered craft beer, mead and I think imported wine. I knew I wanted a bond ale but my wife is not a beer person. Se asked to try a few meads. On the third taste the barkeep said her taste was over and she would have to charge her. I get it. Nothing is free. But the delivery of response put us off. My blonde ale was ok. Peaceful outdoor setting ! With tables inside as well. Yummy food, and best of all! GREAT mead. Thank you for being amazing.
Came out to La Grange and tried this for the first time. The scene was spectacular very nice very outdoors/country, the staff to the service was on point tried the flight delicious and strong, did i mention the chickens and you can feed them so bring quarters
