We just had our first baby here at Bliss last week and it was nothing short of amazing! Through the journey of bring pregnant we were supported, cared for and felt confident in each person that was looking after us. They also offer so much guidance and wisdom through the group appointments and Birthing Bootcamp (shoutout to Shannon!) that me and my husband felt so much more equipped to be able to do this together and be successful! I delivered my first born in a hospital. I wanted a water birth experience but unfortunately wasn’t granted the opportunity due to unnecessary medical interventions. Not only was it traumatic, the recovery was a painful process that left me with pelvic floor prolapse. This time around with my second pregnancy, I knew I needed things to be different.
