Very bad experience - I booked as a new client with Maddie Ray. She did not honor the new client $20 dollars off even though I VERIFIED with the studio. She tried to up-charge me for 30 min of our haircut appointment which I said no I don’t have time and maybe next time. The cut was absolutely rushed and she did a very poor job of cutting it and she has her next client waiting due to wasted time. Amelia is my absolute favorite hair stylist I have ever been to (I've seen 4-5 others). She is a hair goddess who creates magic with her hands. I truly have never been so astonished by someone's work before. She takes the cake with the miracles she is able to whip up. If you are a brunette and want your hair to look fresh and fabulous, run don't walk to Maddie at the Plainfield location! She has done an amazing job with my hair. She's saved me from the copper tones I used to get in my hair and has helped me with finding my perfect match with my halo extension. She is your girl, especially if you are prepping your hair for a big event like she did for my wedding. She's the best!
Angie cut and dyed my hair today and she did an amazing job! I previously had a bright green hair, but I needed to dye it back to a more natural color for work. I went with black so I could still feel a little unique and fun, and she suggested to put some highlights in my hair to keep some dimension.
