We tried to enroll our kindergartener to afterschool this semester. Overall, the resolution process was handled fairly — when we decided to withdraw, Chef Neelam processed our deposit refund quickly and responded to our feedback professionally. My kids (7 and 5) did a week summer camp session and absolutely loved it. They love helping me cook now and we both have so much more confidence in their knife skills. It has also inspired more adventurous, healthier eating and more vegetarian meals. We’ve moved to have them included in the weekly meal planning as well. My kids told me this was their favorite camp and next year we will do more sessions.

Such a great concept. What better place to teach and practice grounding and mindfulness (whether in the form of yoga, meditation, or breathing exercises) than the kitchen, where sharp tools and hot surfaces abound?! Sets the stage for responsibly practicing knife skills and good health/safety protocols when preparing food.
