My son LOVED bliss belly camp. Both the campers and staff were kind and they would regularly check in with us. My son left camp excited to cook with me and to teach me his new recipes.

Both of my kids absolutely loved this camp. I only wish we had something like it in our area! We flew in to Albany and stayed at an Airbnb just to attend this camp — and it was totally worth it. No regrets!

The cooking and overall camp is wonderful. We experienced a serious bullying issue, that yes could happen anywhere. But it was how it was handled that is the problem. Instead of believing the child being bullied, they waved it off and said “oh those are our regular good kids.” Setting a double standard like that is probably why those kids they felt they could bully with impunity. The harmful experience has stayed with us and we won’t be back.

Edited to add: I have since spoken with Chef Neelam who graciously listened and responded to my concerns articulated below. She advised that our experience was reflective of the growing pains the camp experienced this summer, which I hope and suspect will be addressed in future camp sessions. Original review: My daughter liked this camp fine. The cooking was somewhat elementary. As a parent I do not recommend this camp. It is too large (40+ Kids) and poorly organized.
