Scheduling my appointment for installation was frustrating because the rep from the store (Valley Steam, NY) kept leaving me voice mail messages but no one answers the phone at that location. So you have to wait for a call back and they don’t give you dates of availability until you pay in full. However, I lucked up on the actual installer because he (Anthony A.) was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and efficient when installing my blinds. He gets 5 stars but the overall experience with this company was a 3.5-4.
The quality of the blinds is good. The measurements were accurate. Installation was quick and he called a head as promised. The company did not include the blind for one windows. So now we wait so they can find it presuming it was manufactured.
The store was mostly OK however I didn’t like the fact that they ask you to pay fully for the blinds before they are installed. Usually, you pay half at most stores when you do the initial measure and the balance upon completion of the job. I feel like I have no protection from bad actors the way they’re doing it. if anything goes wrong with the install, I’m literally at their mercy as far as making repairs and adjustments and this is all based on their standards.
