Last year my bonus mom died and Joe was extremely helpful to my dad and our family. Sadly, my father passed away recently and although it was incredibly painful to go back to Blessing so soon, it was exactly what my dad would have wanted. Emanuel was very patient with me, and flexible with my non-traditional work schedule. He assisted me with making the most of my limited budget and helped me give my dad the best possible send off. Overcharged for bare minimum services. Promises not kept such as a tent type covering to find out upon arrival tents are not allowed. Not even in Texas heat. 8 of the cheapest flimsy chairs I've ever seen were provided for seating at the grave site. It took 2 weeks for them to put a name marker at the grave. Second death in the family. Blessing has not followed through with cremation after picking up the body OVER 2 weeks ago. When I called, they told me "we need another document signed. Our family truly appreciated how Blessing Funeral Home helped us with my Mother's Home going preparations. Mr. Emanuel Tucker went above and beyond to help us with the decisions that had to be made and truly made us feel like "Family". Jennifer also made us welcome from the time we walked in the door. Thank you to each person there who helped. My Mother looked absolutely Beautiful from her red dress to her makeup and red painted nails already for her entrance to Heaven. Emanuel and Blessings Funeral did a great job taking care of my family and I. The service was very nice as well as the chapel. I would recommend them and especially Emanuel.
