When I made the initial appointment for my daughter she said $150! I said for a child! She politely said do you want to bring your own hair and I charge you $100!I said yes because I was a cosmetologist and 5 time salon owner in my past which she had no idea! When we arrived at 8am she made us wait at the McDonalds across the street from her house! She called us when she was ready! When we got in her home she tried to change the price back to $150. Josephine and her sister was wonderful they are completely professional in there work and there customer service. I took my daughter there to get her hair done and was totally impressed how she treats kids. I would highly recommended them if you are looking to get you are your kids hair done. Five star rating isn't high enough.
The first time I went to Josephine's, my niece got her hair done (Box Braids) Josephine started it, however she was unable to grip my niece hair in the back? Her friend was their and she finished her hair, which it was amazing- My niece even said Josephine braided too tight.. A week later I decided to get my cornrows done, now when I sent her the pic she quoted $120 and she was able to do the style, provide hair etc.. Went to this lady and it was a terrible experience. House was Dirty & smelled. She stopped Several times to eat and no Exaggeration Literally Chewed and smacked in my ear for 3 Hours! Didnt wash my hair before, Ripped pieces out of my hair trying to part, Did not sit under a dryer and Continually asked if I wanted to go home and to let "Air Dry". Very unprofessional and doesn't even get a Star from me����
This woman is very unprofessional - from start to finish. She never told me how much it was going to cost for Crochet Braids until the day she was doing my hair. Her house was dirty and smelly, she could barely speak English and she had company over for a little and I had to wait until they were done doing whatever they were doing in the kitchen for 30 minutes.
