Sheila and her team are so amazing! This was my 3rd pregnancy but my first with Blessed Joy Midwifery. Through all my prenatal care I never felt rushed or as if I was just another patient to them. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and getting to know me and when I gave birth I was able to feel relaxed and calm and like I was surrounded by friends who truly cared about me and supported what I wanted in my birth!
I’m so deeply grateful for Blessed Joy Midwifery and the incredible care I received from Sheila throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. From the moment we met, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. She brought such peace, wisdom, and encouragement into every appointment, and helped me feel confident and empowered—especially when it came time to give birth. I loved my experience with Sheila and Kacey and Ashlynn, all are so sweet and friendly and made me feel like an individual and friend rather than at the OB office where they rush you in and out and don’t care to get to know you. Although I ended up having to have my baby at Baylor due to fever and decreased baby movement, I felt very supported by Sheila the whole time and she stayed in contact during and after the birth and resumed our postpartum care once we were discharged from hospital. I’ll never forget the love, strength, and care I received from the team at Blessed Joy Midwifery. They helped me bring my baby into the world safely, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
