We had the Ashford 30 model professionally installed and have been burning kiln dried firewood. The burn times and heat output have been extremely disappointing. We have contacted Blaze King about a potentially faulty thermostat knob and have received no response. Not the results one wants or would expect when purchase a wood stove at this price point.
Blaze King Princess 32……AMAZING product….literally load it, set it and walk away….simply put if you are in the market for a wood stove BUY ONE OF THESE!!!!!
New Ashford 2500 insert doesn't perform as advertised. If you want a pretty fire and don't mind adding wood every 3 to 4 hours you may like this over priced wood eating beast. If you want an insert that even comes close to delivering what it says, buy something else. The catalyst won't stay active, there may as well not even have one.
We own the Clarity 26 Blaze King and have been disappointed since the day we installed it. Does not light, try everything, consult everyone, and it will not light consistently over a three year time frame. The company can not be bothered to return our calls. Do not buy this fireplace.
I have been using wood as my primary heating source for over 40 years. I just recently had a Blaze King AF25 fireplace installed in the living room of my log home. I am so disappointed in its performance. I was told that it would heat both floors of my house. The downstairs stays cool and the upstairs is unbearably hot. If I run the heater on low downstairs is chilly and upstairs comfortable but the creosote that builds up on the glass front is horrible.
